Barry entered the healthcare field in 1991. He has been in a variety of roles including management, clinical in both team and independent roles and was an Assistant Professor/Clinical Director at Mt. Marty College in Sioux Falls, SD.

Katie Bates was born and raised in SD. She graduated from the Mount Marty bachelors of nursing program in 1992. After working 12 years as a nurse in the Cardiac ICU and Cardiac Cath Lab setting Katie obtained her anesthesia degree from Mount Marty College in 2010. She has worked at Monument Health as a CRNA from 2010 until her moving to the Plastic Surgical Center of Rapid City in 2020.
