Robert J. Schutz, MD

Dr. Schutz is board certified by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Inc. and the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, Inc. He has more than twenty years of experience in facial rejuvenation, body contouring, breast reconstruction, wound healing, burn wound management and breast enhancement.

Robert J. Schutz, MD He graduated from Creighton university School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska and completed a general surgery residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa (1986 - 1991). After that, Dr. Schutz completed a plastic Surgery residency at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana (1991 - 1993).

In addition to his certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Schutz is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, adn teh American Medical Association. He is also a member of the South Dakota State Medical Association, Black Hills Medical Society, Midwestern Association of Plastic Surgeons, and the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society.

Dr. Schutz has been a clinical professor at the Sanford Medical Association, University of South Dakota. He was awarded a certificate of recognition by the Allergan Academy.
